Mike’s 20 years of expertise covers all facets of business management from strategic discovery to implementation; as well as sales, marketing, value creation, delivery and basic financial operations. Opening his first sustainably profitable company at 20 years of age, he has learned through practice first, theory second.
After 10 years of Entrepreneurship and 3 new companies (2 of which still run today), Mike joined corporate environments to learn the difference between small and big business to grow his already proud business acumen. 7 years, numerous initiatives and breakthrough outcomes later, Mike is back to his passion; business basics.

Ready to re-enter Entrepreneurship and with no engaging options yet on the table, Mike started consulting as a way to get back in touch with the SME business world, to shake off any corporate ‘fat’ and re-familiarise himself with the power of sense of urgency and connectedness.
What was to be a short-term endeavour, one of ‘retraining’, has turned into a full-blown business in its own right.
The last 4 years has seen Mike assist, direct and coach multiple companies from start-ups, SME’s and corporates; from financial institutions to tourism, technology to retail and many more in-between.
Two examples of impacts include:

Writing multiple growth strategies for Westpac NZ Limited including: Channel Transformation, Digital Strategy, Ventures Strategy and their most recent API Strategy

The design and implementation of a strategy for a 20 year old construction company that is currently experiencing 60% revenue growth and over 100% growth in profit, while sustainably coaching the progression of an ownership succession plan.
